No show.<\/p>\n<p>This is bad. Kevin has pretty much completed the top of the balloon. He spent Thursday going over his previous work &#8212; double-checking and fixing nits.<\/p>\n<p>The Nomex is needed to finish the bottom of the balloon. The person who answered the FedEx telephone on Thursday said that they would &#8220;put a trace on the package&#8221; whatever that means. It sounds like the kind of thing that people who answer telephones for a living say to get grumpy customers off the phone.<\/p>\n<p>If the Nomex doesn&#8217;t show up on Friday, Kevin is either going to have to substitute nylon on the bottom panel (annoying but not the end of the world) or go idle over the weekend and hope that the Nomex shows up on Monday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When Kevin called FedEx Wednesday, the person on the phone said that his package of Nomex would be delivered Thursday (&#8220;This time for sure, Rocky!&#8221;) Guess what?
